Into what languages do you translate?
I translate from German to English (UK/US).

What turnaround can I expect?
This will depend on the following:

• The length of the document to be translated.
• The level of complexity, i.e., the established company terms and lingo, the research required and other requirements to be followed
• The translation format. How much formatting, e.g., images, photos, tables and page layout is required.
• Legibility. Is there a lot of redacted text, copied pages where some parts are illegible, or is there handwritten text?

How do I pay for the service?
I will email my invoice. Invoices are due within two weeks of invoice receipt. I accept payment via PayPal, Venmo, US check, US and European direct bank transfer.

How much do you charge for a translation?

My rates are either in EUR/USD, depending on the client’s currency. Other currencies are not accepted. My translation rate starts at USD/EUR 0.11 per word, my proofreading rate starts as USD/EUR 0.03/word and my editing rate is USD/EUR 0.05/word. My minimum standard rate is USD/EUR 35.

And my subtitling rate starts at USD/EUR 3.50/audio minute. I am happy to provide discount for ongoing translation/proofreading/subtitling projects. Please feel free to contact me to receive a free quote for your project
